One of Australia’s most dedicated promotional merchandise decorators was undergoing a change in management with a renewed focus on positioning the company as a industry-leading print innovator. The new, relaunched Promotional Prints was in search of an identity which celebrated this vision.
The intersection of printing and promotion
PP’s customers demand high quality print solutions to produce the most high impact promotional products possible, within tight timeframes. This ‘here and now‘ mantra informs the design and colour scheme of the identity. The speech bubble motif used throughout the identity represents the promotional sector, while the layered paper effect pays homage to the company’s printing expertise. The choice of a high-contrast red colour scheme indicates the company’s high speed, deadline-focused approach as well as the ‘power’ of promotion.
Evolution of a revolution
Promotional Prints’ Transprint product introduced to the market a brand new way to decorate almost anything in full, photographic colour. Key to the new identity is the tight integration of the Transprint brand, bringing all of Promotional Prints’ product set under one consistent umbrella, whilst being sure to retain its own unique personality.
The Promotional Prints rebrand was conducted whilst working in-house at PP during 2018. Included in the rollout was a full suite of stationery, building signage, several EDM campaigns, various specialised printing applications, and a new WordPress-based website & client portal. The relaunch effort had an immediate positive effect on customer engagement and completely transformed attitudes about the brand, helping to foster a renewed ‘service-first’ approach for the business.
